Bridge the Gap is a hands-on construction challenge where all teams contribute to building one large, functioning bridge – a powerful metaphor for connection, cooperation, and shared purpose in any organization.

How the Activity Works

In this exercise, each team is responsible for building one section of a larger bridge. But here’s the twist:

• You design and guide another team on how to build your bridge section

• Meanwhile, another team instructs you on how to build theirs

This setup creates a cross-functional communication loop and emphasizes clear instructions, active listening, and trust.

Once all segments are complete, the moment of truth arrives:
A remote-controlled car is sent across the bridge. Will it make it to the other side? Your design, teamwork, and communication will be put to the test – in the most visual way possible.
