Introduction

Start your engines – or rather, build them first!
In this hands-on and high-energy teambuilding activity, your group has just 3.5 hours to design, build, and race a Formula 1-style soapbox car using only cardboard, creativity, and collaboration.

How the Activity Works

In teams of 5, you’ll take on the ultimate team challenge: constructing and branding your very own cardboard Formula 1 car. This is not just about looks – your creation will be tested in a head-to-head race!

Phase 1: Design & Build

• Create a team identity and decorate your car

• Use teamwork to assemble a stable, functional racer

• Access inspiration from a fully built prototype after 30 minutes

• Receive guidance from a skilled instructor to ensure safe construction

Phase 2: The Grand Prix

• Choose one team member as the driver

• The rest of the team becomes the engine, pushing the car across the finish line

• Compete for speed, design, and teamwork in a fun, all-out race event

We bring everything: cardboard materials, decorating supplies, a finished prototype, and expert facilitation. You just bring your team and their best energy. Suitable for indoor or outdoor spaces.
